59 Brand New Chanel Bags, Straight From the Mermaid Blue Spring 2018 Runway in Paris of the Brand

The French handbag giant’s show also included loads of transparent bags and one wearing a raincoat

The most important clue to what you’re going to find in any particular Chanel Bags King Of Prussia collection is what’s happening with the set. Over the years, Chanel has transformed Paris’s Grand Palais into everything from a supermarket to a data center to an iceberg, none of which was done to tease out subtle references in the clothing. Karl Lagerfeld hits things right on the nose, aesthetically, and if the set looks like a grocery store, then he’s going to give you a handbag wrapped up like butchered meat. Lagerfeld wants you to get the subtext.

For Chanel Bags 70s Spring 2018, the brand recreated the cliffs and waterfalls of the Gorges du Verdon as the backdrop for the collection, which included both plenty of shades of blue and lots of nods to the elements encountered by hikers, if not actual outdoor clothes themselves. That means lots of patent leather and clear vinyl, the latter coming in the form of big, beachy totes, bucket bags and clutches, as well as not-exactly-hiking boots.

Most of the bags that weren’t crystal clear were at least a couple shades of blue, giving the collection a serenely watercolored mood that felt both pretty and wearable. Check out all of the runway bags below.

Ancient Greece is something most people in the West begin learning as children, and in these early days, a lot of learning is visual. That means the stereotypical aesthetics of that specific corner of history are well-known: togas, sandals, crowns of golden leaves, woven and braided fabrics, as well as the colours white, gold and ivory all play big roles. After Karl Lagerfeld set out to motif Chanel’s Cruise 2018 collection around early Greece, he didn’t stray far from those tropes–in actuality, he did not stray in any way, and the resulting bags are in shops now. These bags will probably be appealing to people interested in the colours and textures of Greece in particular, and the light, warm colors make for an excellent escape wardrobe (this really is a resort set, after all). Check out all of the bag’s from the new grand lookbook beneath, including fresh seasonal variations of the popular Boy, Classic Flap and Gabrielle lines. As always, we’ve included prices. There are not many fashion brands that won’t let you purchase their luggage online at this point–even Hermès has responded that the siren song of online retail–but Chanel is still one of the lone holdouts. Even though the French handbag celebrity has taken to publishing increasingly long and elaborate handbag lookbooks each season, you still have to parade into one of the company’s comparatively infrequent boutiques in order to obtain a brand new bag. If ” new” is not the significant part this sentence for you, however, we might have the ability to provide help.
